Single-battery guitar-preamp with 3-band Fender-style tone-control, and Fuzz-Face clone distortion circuit.

Guitar preamp supplied by a single 9-volt battery, with a 3-band Fender-style tone-stack and a Fuzz-Face clone distortion circuit. Features: Input Tone switch, Input Tone pot, Bright switch, Direct Gain pot, Direct Level control, Fuzz Switch, Fuzz Drive pot, Fuzz Tone control, Fuzz Bias pot, Fuzz Level control, signal Attenuator pot, Bass, Mid, and Treble controls, Tone Level control, Output Gain pot, and output Volume control. Input can be from any passive or active guitar, effect, other preamp, or guitar processor. The output can go to any effect, other preamp, guitar processor, or guitar amplifier. Total preamp gain is at ~ 200. Suitable for stomp-box or rack-mount applications. Note that the battery can be replaced by any standard regulated power-supply providing +-9V DC or +-12V DC or +-15V DC, at 100mA. House the completed circuit in a grounded metal enclosure to prevent EMF interference.
