This CircuitLab circuit models a dc motor with a speed voltage regulator
This circuit illustrates the use of the Laplace block to model a DC motor and the voltage controlled voltage source to model the power amplifier and tachogenerator. The analog speed voltage regulator is implemented via the operational amplifier and associated feedback components to give an integral + lead speed regulator.
Using this model one can design a dc motor speed/voltage regulator and select the R and C tuning components to get a desired regulator response.
