2-Voiced Feedback Fuzz w. 2-Band Tone and Overdrive
2-voice feedback diode fuzz circuit with 2-band Baxandall tone circuit, and two separate outputs; Normal and Overdrive. Controls Include: Drive 1, Gain, Fuzz Enable switch, Fuzz Type switch (A or B), Fuzz symmetry switches (four, with 2 settings each), Drive 2, Bass, Center, Treble, Overdrive Gain, Overdrive Level, and master Volume. Fuzz voices A and B are selectable separately and are produced by standard and Schottky diodes, respectively. Symmetry switches set the harmonic content of the fuzz. Maximum normal gain = +19.5 dBV @ 400 Hz with all controls at 50%. Maximum overdrive gain = +40 dBV @ 1 kHz with all control settings at 50%. Gains go above twice these values with controls 100%. Normal Frequency Range 18 Hz to 10 kHz with all controls at 50%. Overdrive Frequency Range 40 Hz to 40 kHz with all controls at 50%. Normal Output suitable for 6/7/8-string guitar or 4/5/6-string bass, but Overdrive Output not recommended for 8-string guitar or 5/6-string bass. Power-supply not shown. Requires a regulated dual-polarity DC supply providing +-9VDC or +-12VDC or +-15VDC at >= 40 mA of current. And though simulator verified, treat the circuit as experimental. Breadboard test before soldering.
